GreenFuture Initiative is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to conservation education and sustainable community practices. We work with local schools, parks, and communities to promote environmental stewardship.

Internship Overview

We’re seeking passionate high school students interested in environmental science and education for our summer program. This outdoor, hands-on position is perfect for students who love nature and want to make a difference in their community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with environmental education programs for younger students
  • Help maintain community gardens and native plant habitats
  • Participate in local river clean-up and conservation projects
  • Create educational materials about local ecosystems
  • Support weekend community outreach events
  • Document activities through photography and social media updates

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Current high school student (must be at least 16 years old)
  • Interest in environmental science, biology, or education
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication skills and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week from June – August

Logistics:
